Project Information
The goal of the Praga-Haiti project is a targeted, effective and direct help to the residents of Haiti. It is focused on the permanent solutions to the residents´ basic problems. During the second phase of this project, which has been going on from October 2009 we are ensuring drinking water resources.
The North-West Haiti area is the location for our work. This area is one of the poorest and the unreachable parts in Haiti.
During 2010 we transported our machines and the well drilling equipment to Haiti – the drilling kit, the compressor, the drilling tools and a Praga V3S lorry. Our permanent base and the machine store are located in Port-de-Paix. We cooperate with the local diocese charity that helps us find new co-workers. They are linked to this project and they locate new well sites.
Our vision is to offer work for local residents and to help acquire skills and necessary competence in the ongoing development.

In Haiti the construction of wells for the poorest people is carried out by sponsorships and financial donations.
We are looking for sponsors for wells for the poorest parts of Haiti.
GINA System
Haitiwells.com has a connection to the map software GINA System. It helps navigate in the case of difficult terrain, share data in real time and visualise data on the Internet by mobile phone devices. All wells constructed in Haiti are located and documented with the help of this software. You can see the current situation on this website. GINA Software company is a co-author of this website.
